These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of themrfixedit.com (the “Site”), operated by Steel City Appliance Repair LLC (“TheMrFixedit,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Products
We sell OEM (original equipment manufacturer) and replacement appliance repair parts. We make every effort to describe parts and their fitment accurately, but product descriptions, images, and model-compatibility information are provided to help you and are not guaranteed to be error-free.
2. Fit and model compatibility
Many parts only fit specific appliance model numbers. Our “Will this fit?” checker is a tool to help you confirm compatibility using the model number you provide. You are responsible for entering your correct appliance model number and for confirming the part is right for your machine before purchasing. If you’re unsure, contact us before you buy.
3. Pricing and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed securely through Stripe at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices at any time before you order.
4. Shipping
We offer free standard shipping within the United States unless stated otherwise. Orders are shipped directly to you from our distributor on our behalf (“blind” shipment), under the TheMrFixedit name. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
5. Returns and refunds
- Return window: You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
- Condition: Returned parts must be new, unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging. Parts that have been installed, used, or damaged after delivery cannot be returned.
- FINAL SALE — non-returnable items: Certain electronic parts — including circuit control boards and inverter boards — are sold FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or refunded, due to the high rate of returns and the inability to resell electrical components once shipped. These items are clearly marked as final sale on their product page.
- Return shipping: Unless the return is due to our error (wrong or defective part shipped), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- How to start a return: Email orders@themrfixedit.com with your order number before sending anything back.
- Refunds: Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned part. No restocking fee applies.
6. Order acceptance and cancellation
Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept, decline, or cancel any order — for example, if a part is out of stock, mispriced, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you’ve already paid for, we’ll refund you in full.
7. Warranty and disclaimer
Parts may carry the original manufacturer’s warranty, if any; we pass through that warranty and make no separate warranty of our own. Except as required by law, parts are provided “as is,” and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Installation and safety
Appliance repairs can involve electricity, water, and gas. Parts should be installed by a qualified person, with power and water disconnected. We are not responsible for injury, property damage, or further appliance damage resulting from improper installation or use of a part. If you are not comfortable doing the repair, hire a professional.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your order or use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the part in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. The version posted on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order.
